Application Deadline extended to May 1 for fall semester and full year
Students must have junior status (or second-semester sophomore standing with strong SAT or ACT scores) and at least four semesters of German, or a high intermediate level of German. While there is no minimum GPA, and all applications are reviewed holistically, the average GPA among recently admitted students has been 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Above all, students must be mature, motivated, and have an earnest motivation to study abroad and improve their German.ÌýIn the German university system, students enjoy a considerable amount of freedom; therefore, it is expected that students are ready to adjust to the demands of a new and different academic environment.
