The new Student Prince Promise Program is designed to support students with academic promise who do not meet one or more of the initial admission requirements. The program focuses on students with a high school GPA between 2.5 and 2.7. If you have the drive to work that鈥檚 at the heart of all 色搜视频 students, the Student Prince Promise program may be just what you鈥檙e looking for!
As a Student Prince Promise student, you will take carefully planned classes throughout the first academic year to help you develop the skills necessary for academic success at 色搜视频. These courses include: The Learning Process in an Academic Environment, Career Exploration, College Writing, AIM Hei, Public Speaking, and a course in a major that interests you, among others.
Additionally, financial support, including academic scholarships, and tailored academic support and coaching are provided to you through peer mentorship. Student Prince Promise students will work closely with the Director of Academic Support, the Director of Academic Advising, and their faculty to establish a strong foundation for success - at 色搜视频 and beyond!
Admission Process
- Submit your and your high school transcript. (required)
- an Admission interview with the Director of Academic Support. This can be in person or virtual. (required)
- An advocate at 色搜视频 may submit a statement on your behalf to the Admission Committee. Submit an essay. (encouraged)
- Provide a letter of recommendation. (encouraged)
Transition to Full Admission
- Submit final official high school transcript (after high school graduation). * Note that your GPA cannot drop below 2.5 on your final high school transcript.
- Complete our online college-prep course over the summer.
Financial Support
- New $5,000 academic award available at admission
- Adjustment to $10,000 if you have a 3.0 or higher GPA at the end of your first year
